Our head office is in Riyadh and we welcome requests from every region. Here is what each region’s climate and ground mean for waterproofing, insulation, concrete and finishes.

Based in Riyadh, open to requests from every region
Headquartered in Riyadh, our operational capability extends to Al-Kharj, Al-Muzahimiyah, Huraymila, Sudair, Al-Qassim, Tabuk, Jeddah, Taif and Abha, with teams working in parallel across multiple sites.
We welcome quotation and technical-consultation requests from all 13 regions; drawings are reviewed remotely, and site visits are arranged with each project.
Projects outside the Kingdom, in the Arab world: by invitation only, each one considered on its own.

Central region
Riyadh, Al-Qassim and Hail: heat, UV and dust
Climate and ground
Very hot summers and strong UV, wide day–night temperature swings, dust and sandstorms, and little rain that can fall hard in a short time; colder winters in Al-Qassim and Hail.
Waterproofing
Heat and UV age exposed membranes, so they get a protection screed or tiles, or a UV-resistant system is chosen, with an inverted roof where it suits. Falls and drains still matter: short, heavy rain exposes every mistake in them.

Roof and wall insulation cuts cooling loads and is designed to the energy-efficiency requirements of the Saudi Building Code (SBC 601 / SBC 602); boards and foam are kept out of the sun during the works.

Hot-weather concreting needs a curing plan — wetting and covering — to avoid early shrinkage cracks; every crack is treated before waterproofing or finishes.
Concrete repair & protectionFinishes and paints
Paints and epoxy go on within the temperature range of the data sheet — often in the cooler hours, out of direct sun — after thorough dust removal.

Makkah and Madinah: a humid coast and highlands
Climate and ground
A hot, humid Red Sea coastal strip with salt-laden air and, at some coastal sites, shallow groundwater; inland heat and dryness in Makkah and Madinah, and a milder highland climate around Taif with seasonal rain.
Waterproofing
On coastal sites the groundwater level is checked before choosing basement and ground-tank waterproofing; a system rated for water pressure where needed, with the construction joints sealed.

High humidity makes the position of the vapour control layer and the joint details important, to avoid condensation inside the insulation.

Chlorides in the air and soil speed up reinforcement corrosion, so concrete cover and mix follow the design, and exposed surfaces get anti-carbonation or protective coatings.

Eastern Province
Eastern Province: groundwater, sabkha and humidity
Climate and ground
A humid Gulf coast, shallow groundwater at many sites, and saline sabkha soils carrying sulphates and chlorides; intense heat inland, as in Al-Ahsa and Hafar Al-Batin.
Waterproofing
Basements and foundations below the water table need continuous waterproofing that resists hydrostatic pressure — bonded membranes, a crystalline system or both, per the design — with waterstops at construction joints and dewatering during excavation.

Roof insulation matters where heat and humidity combine; mind the vapour control layer and the drainage above the boards.

Sulphates attack concrete and chlorides attack steel, so cement type, mix and cover follow the design, and foundation elements are protected with waterproofing and protection layers before backfilling.

Humidity and dew point decide when epoxy and paints go on, and slab moisture is tested before any resin floor.

Southern regions
Asir, Al-Baha, Jazan and Najran: rain, runoff and slopes
Climate and ground
The Asir and Al-Baha highlands: seasonal rain, fog and runoff on sloping sites, with milder temperatures; the Jazan coastal plain is hot and humid; Najran is hot and dry, crossed by wadis and flash floods.
Waterproofing
Roofs are designed for rain: a correct screed to falls, drains and overflows, waterproofing turned up the parapet, and tight details at penetrations. On slopes, retaining and basement walls need waterproofing and drainage behind them.

Persistent moisture and running water expose weak concrete, honeycombing and construction joints; on the Jazan coast the same chloride notes apply.

Tabuk, Al-Jawf and Northern Borders: hot summers, cold winters
Climate and ground
A continental climate: hot summers and cold winters with low night temperatures, a wide seasonal range and scattered winter rain; the Tabuk region also has a Red Sea coast.
Waterproofing
Expansion and contraction over a wide temperature range load the joints and laps, so membranes are chosen for low-temperature flexibility per the manufacturer’s data, and expansion joints are detailed with care.

Insulation works both ways — keeping warmth in during winter and heat out in summer — and deserves a thickness designed to the code.

Concreting in cold weather needs fresh concrete protected from the cold; on the coast the chloride notes apply.

Questions about working across the regions
How do I request a quote for a project outside Riyadh?
Send it through the RFQ page with the project location, drawings, BOQ and site photos; we review them technically, arrange a site visit when needed, then send an offer with the scope and programme.
Does the waterproofing system differ between Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam?
Usually, yes: in Riyadh heat and UV lead, in Jeddah humidity and salts, in Dammam groundwater and sabkha soils. The final system comes from the approved design and the manufacturer’s data for each site.
What matters when waterproofing near the coast?
The groundwater level below the building, salts in the air and soil, and humidity and dew point at the time of application; they drive a system that resists water pressure and the protection of the concrete and steel.
Is thermal insulation needed where winters are cold?
Yes. Insulation slows heat flow both ways — keeping warmth in during winter and heat out in summer — and the energy-efficiency requirements of the Saudi Building Code apply across the Kingdom.
Do you take on projects outside Saudi Arabia?
By invitation only: we welcome invitations for projects in Arab countries, and each one is considered on its own before any commitment.
Are site visits available in every region?
Yes, by arrangement: the inspection is scheduled to suit the project’s location and programme, and photos and drawings sent in advance help us prepare.
