A website for everyone
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, in Arabic and in English.
Last updated:
01What we have done
- A clear page structure with ordered headings, navigation landmarks and a skip-to-content link.
- Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator, including the large menus, the building explorer, the system layer diagrams, the System Finder, the calculators and dialogs.
- Correct right-to-left text in Arabic and left-to-right in English, with numbers and units isolated so they read correctly.
- Alternative text for images, and text descriptions for technical drawings.
- Considered colour contrast, and text that can be enlarged to 200% without losing content.
- Respect for the “reduce motion” setting, a switch in every page footer that stops motion across the site, and a pause button for the moving logo strip.
- Touch targets of at least 24 px, and 44 px for primary buttons.
- Pre-rendered pages whose core content reads even without JavaScript.
02Known limitations
- The Arabic prequalification profile PDF is made of images with no text layer, so screen readers cannot read it. The same information is available as text on the website pages, and we can send it in another format on request.
- Certificates and official documents are scanned images of the originals; their key details (issuer, number and dates) are shown as text next to them.
- The 3D view and the augmented-reality viewer are optional; the same information is in the 2D building explorer and the system pages. The videos on the home page are decorative and silent, and carry no information.
- The advisor’s answers are generated automatically and may not always be as well structured as written content.
03Tell us about a problem
If you have difficulty using any part of the website, or need information in another format, email contact@primeshield.com.sa or WhatsApp +966 59 240 0524 with the page link and a description of the problem, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
04How we assessed the site
The website team prepared this statement from a self-assessment that included keyboard testing, phone and desktop screens, the reduce-motion setting and automated checks of contrast, names and target sizes, in both languages.
