Nine steps from assessment to warranty
One documented path on every project: you know in advance what we do at each step, what we need from you and what you receive at the end of it.

Step by step
What we do at each step, and what we need from you
- 01
Assessment
We inspect the site or review the drawings, and find the source of the problem and the risk points before proposing anything.
What we do
- Measuring the site and checking any drawings and specifications
- Checking the substrate, the falls, the joints and the penetrations
- Tracing the source of a leak, with moisture readings or a flood test where needed
What we need from you
- Site access, and any drawings or photos of the problem
What you receive
- Site photos and notes for the proposal
- 02
Technical proposal
We propose the right system for each location to the specification, with an itemised offer and quantities.
What we do
- Choosing the system by structure, surface condition, use and the approved specification
- An offer with items, quantities, the programme and the basis of the warranty
What we need from you
- Reviewing the offer and discussing alternatives
What you receive
- A detailed technical and commercial offer
- 03
Material & system approval
We submit material data and manufacturer certificates for approval before supply.
What we do
- A submittal: technical data sheets, manufacturer certificates and applicator approvals
- A mock-up where the specification calls for one
What we need from you
- System and material approval by the owner or the consultant
What you receive
- An approved system and approved materials before supply
- 04
Surface preparation
We treat joints and penetrations, and check the falls and the substrate before waterproofing.
What we do
- Cleaning the substrate and repairing its defects
- Treating joints and penetrations and checking the falls
- Moisture readings where the system requires them
What we need from you
- Coordinating working hours and access to each area
What you receive
- A substrate inspected and approved for application
- 05
Application
We install the system layer by layer to the manufacturer’s instructions, under a site safety plan.
What we do
- A safety plan: risk assessment, permits to work and training
- Layers applied to the thicknesses set by the specification
What we need from you
- Handing over the work areas clear of other trades
What you receive
- Photos and reports for every stage
- 06
QA/QC
Every layer is inspected and recorded before the next, with hold points approved by the consultant.
What we do
- Inspection requests (IR) at the hold points
- Thickness measured; laps and critical details inspected
What we need from you
- The inspection attended by the owner or the consultant
What you receive
- An approved inspection record for every stage
- 07
Testing
Flood tests for roofs, wet areas and tanks, and thickness and adhesion tests where they apply.
What we do
- Flood tests for roofs, wet areas and tanks
- Dry-film thickness, and adhesion tests for systems that require them
- PU foam density checks, and membrane laps and seams inspected
What we need from you
- Attending the test if you wish
What you receive
- Test results in the quality file
- 08
Handover
We hand over with a formal acceptance report once the results are approved, together with the quality file.
What we do
- A formal acceptance report once the results are approved
- The quality file: photos, reports and test results for every stage
What we need from you
- Reviewing the works and signing the acceptance report
What you receive
- An acceptance report and the quality file
- 09
Warranty
A written warranty certificate — warranty according to the approved system, manufacturer recommendations and the project agreement.
What we do
- A warranty certificate with a PSW verification code and a QR code
- Inspection and maintenance visits as agreed or on request
What we need from you
- Keeping the certificate, and telling us early about anything you notice
What you receive
- A written warranty certificate you can verify
At every step
Quality and safety are not a separate stage
Quality
Inspection and records at every step, not only at the end.
QualitySafety
A site safety plan before the first layer.
SafetyWarranty verification
A written certificate you can verify after handover.

QQuestions
Questions clients ask
What must be ready on site before waterproofing starts?
Concrete that has cured and is dry within the product’s moisture limit, the falls done, the drains and penetrations fixed, the upstand plaster finished, and the area handed over clear of other trades — with water, power and safe access.
